Bread Halwa

INGREDIENTS

  • BREAD - 4 SLICES

  • SUGAR - 1 CUP

  • MILK - 1 CUP

  • UNSWEETENED KOYA - 1 CUP

  • CASHEW NUT ( optional )

  • ALMONDS ( optional )

  • GHEE - 2 TABLE SPOON

  • VANILLA ESSENCE - 1/2 TSP

  • OIL

  • WATER

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cut the bread into 4 pieces .

  2. Fry it in oil.

  3. Prepare jeera mixture by adding 1 cup of sugar with 1 cup of water in a pan.

  4. Put the bread pieces in the jeera mixture.

  5. Add koya, milk and vanilla essence in a separate bowl and mix it well.

  6. Pour this mixture over the bread slices and mix it till the pieces gets shredded.

  7. And mix it well till halwa consistency is attained.

  8. Add 2 tablespoons of ghee.

  9. Serve it with nuts.
